The Markets You Trade

Some futures contracts are "cheaper" than others. For instance, high volume traded contracts such as the mini S&P, dow futures, electronic bonds, and similar electronic contracts are much cheaper to execute than some of the open out cry contracts like coffee and sugar, which require actual floor brokers to execute the trades.

The Way You Trade

Clients who trade online enjoy lower rates than those who execute trades via a broker. However, online trading is more suitable for day-traders and experienced traders, while broker assist is more suitable for beginners, busy professionals or clients who like us to execute trading systems for them.

The Volume You Trade

The more frequently you trade, the lower commissions you will pay.
Volume does matter when deciding on a commission rate. For example, traders who trade 50 contracts at a time will enjoy lower rates than those who trade one contract at a time.
