Royal Forex Trading SAL is a Beirut-headquartered financial brokerage firm authorized and regulated by the Banque du Liban ´BDL´ (Central Bank of Lebanon) registration number 00715.

Banque du Liban ´BDL´ (Central Bank of Lebanon) is a public legal entity enjoying administrative and financial autonomy; it is not subject to the administrative and management rules and controls applicable to the public sector. The Central Bank of Lebanon grants licenses for the establishment of banks local & foreign, financial institutions, brokerage firms, money dealers, leasing companies and mutual funds in Lebanon. The Banking Control Commission of Lebanon (BCCL) at BDL controls and supervises these institutions.

In 2005, the Lebanese Central Bank Governor was awarded the title of the best Central Bank Governor in the Middle East by Europe’s leading business magazine ´Euromoney´, for his commendable performance in stabilizing the economy in Lebanon. Strict monitoring by BDL has ensured transparency in the financial sector and enhanced local and international public trust. For this reason, deposits in banks are currently worth more than three times than the local economy.

Segregation of Funds
All client funds are fully segregated into a special client account and kept separate from company operational funds. Segregation ensures that client funds will not be used to pay back creditors in the unlikely event of RFXT’s default or insolvency. All clients can withdraw their funds at any time.

Bank accounts in tier-1 banks
RFXT holds all client deposits with only well known and highly reputable banks and financial institutions.
Funds, whether they are classified as company funds or client funds, are kept in prime banks.

Supervision by the regulator
All firms regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon have to meet strict financial standards, including capital adequacy requirements. Companies are required to submit financial reports to the regulator on a regular basis (Monthly). The BDL has the right to fine companies and/or terminate a company’s regulatory status for violations.
